Walters Wonderings

One of the great "take-aways" I have from the Godly Play curriculum we use in our kids ministry is helping our children take posture of curiosity toward the Bible and the Christian faith. After every lesson in Godly Play "wondering questions" are offered ("I wonder how Abram felt when he left home and followed God into a new land?", "I wonder how the sheep feel when they are near the Good Shepherd?", etc.). As we begin 2025 I have some wonderings. I wonder what lessons from the past season we will want to carry forward? I wonder what God is calling us to in the season ahead? I wonder how we will live into what God has for us in 2025? I have a lot of wonderings. Allow me to consider these things with you this Sunday as we gather again for worship.
