The Prodigal God

Jesus hung out with the marginalized which did not sit well with the religious leaders. When questioned about His behavior, Jesus answered with stories, one of which we will explore. This story reveals the heart of God - a heart of compassion, mercy, forgiveness, and love for people who have lost their way. finding themselves in a “far country.”

It is a story that invites us to consider which of the characters describes us. Or, to ask ourselves if we are ready to follow Jesus’ example.
