Grace, Grace, Grace

This morning, we want to look at some of the broader theological themes of the book of Galatians. I know “theology” is not everyones hot topic, but It is probably the most helpful thing to keep in mind when looking at a book like this. There are two main streams of theology, with systematic theology being the stream the theology geeks love! The other is applied theology, which is kindof like theology with boots on. 

Applied theology is the theology of Paul in Galatians. I think we could even describe the boots he’s wearing and they aint for going dancing. Paul is wearing work boots, and the kind of work boots used on a farm with lots of cows. Normally, the last word to describe these boots is “kickers”. I’ll leave the first word to your imagination.
