Staying True to Your Faith in a Changing Reality

As we enter the heat of election season, the fear and anxiety around us will be rising. In light of this, it is good for us to remind ourselves who we serve, and look how Jesus used HIS all-mighty power in contrast to the exertion of human power. Studying the exile sets this up well, because in exile one is longing for something different. They long for things to be made right, but they have this constant feeling that something is off. Exiles long for home, but they are surrounded by a different value set. This Sunday we will examine Daniel 3 and the story of three exiles who stayed true to their faith in light of a challenging reality.
