Jesus and Power: Mark 10

Nov 3, 2024    Aaron Walters

Due to some flooding issues, we did not meet last week. But things have been resolved, and Mosaic is set to meet this Sunday as planned. We will "hit the reset button" and pick up our conversations from a couple weeks ago.

In Mark 10 we find Jesus asking the same question twice, “What do you want me to do for you?” The questions happen in two back-to-back scenes. One scene is a request for power, and the other a request for healing. How do these scenes speak to the human condition? How do they reveal the heart of Jesus? Join us this Sunday as we continue our series on “Jesus and Power” and consider these passages together.

Following the worship service, you are invited to stick around for a Q & A time regarding the current state of our denomination and Mosaic’s relationship to the CRC. Feel free to re-listen to the message from October 13 and look at the “Letters of Objection” on our website as a refresher on the topic.
